2 oz. Silver or Blanco tequila
1 oz. Triple Sec or Cointreau
1 oz. fresh-squeezed lime juice
1 oz. simple syrup
1/4 cup fresh blueberries
Rub only half the rim of drinkware with a lime. Dip the rim in salt.
In the shaker, muddle the blueberries, lime juice, and simple syrup.
Add tequila and triple sec to the shaker.
Add ice, about 2/3 full of the cocktail shaker (you could also use or drop a lime wedge into the shaker before the shake begins).
Cover and shake the heck out of the shaker for about 30 seconds.
Fill glass with ice and strain cocktail shaker into that glass.
