This recipe provides a quick and easy way to include some much needed greens in your favorite smoked meals, teach the kids how to portion their plates at a young age! Pairs well with our other recipe Crab-Stuffed Salmon.
1 lb of Brussels sprouts*
1 tbsp. olive oil
Salt and pepper to taste
Wash brussels sprouts and cut bottom off. Then cut in halves.
Place brussels sprouts on a cookie sheet or in a bowl. Drizzle 1 tbsp. of olive oil onto the brussels sprouts. Mix into the olive oil so they are lightly coated with oil. Salt to taste.
Scoop the uncooked brussels into the All-Purpose Basket Hanger and hang basket in Pit Barrel®.
Cook for about 10-15 minutes or until they are done to your liking.
*Note: 1 lb only fills up half the All-Purpose Basket Hanger - Add more as desired.
