Puff Pastry Wrapped Asparagus
Struggling to get the kids to eat their veggies? Wrap them in a pastry and see how the kids react!
1 lb asparagus (a bundle)
4 oz cream cheese
1 crescent pastry can
Light Pit Barrel® according to instructions.
Clean asparagus and cut ends off.
Roll out pastry dough and separate 8 triangles.
Using a knife, cut thin slices of cream cheese and place in the middle area of the triangle.
Place 3-4 asparagus in each and wrap the pastry dough around the asparagus.
Brush all with one beaten egg and drizzle with sea salt.
Place on grate and cook for 12-15 minutes.
