Smoked Cajun Nuts
This snack will be sure to get you hooked on the spicy smokey flavor!
1 mixed raw nuts (or nuts of your choice)
2 tbs avocado, olive or coconut oil
4 tbs of your favorite Cajun seasoning or use Cajun Seasoning recipe below
2 tbsp salt
1 tbsp onion powder
1 tbsp paprika
1 tbsp garlic powder
1 tsp ground white pepper
½ tsp dried oregano
½ tsp dried thyme
¼ tsp cayenne pepper
½ tsp dry mustard
½ tsp sugar
Mix all ingredient together in a large mixing bowl. Let sit for 1 hour.
Drain excess oil.
If whole nuts (large) pour into All-Purpose Hanger Basket and cook for 1 ½ - 2 hours or until desired doneness.
If you prefer halved nuts, cook in oven safe dish or cast-iron skillet.
