This flavorful mix of soy sauce, sesame oil, Chinese five-spice powder, garlic, and maple syrup will result in one of the best tasting Ducks you'll ever taste.

Ingredients
5 lb whole duck
1/4 cup soy sauce
2 tbsp. maple syrup
1 tbsp. toasted sesame oil
1 tsp. Chinese five-spice powder
1 tbsp. minced ginger
2-3 garlic cloves
Directions
Thaw duck and pat dry.
Combine the soy sauce, syrup, sesame oil, Chinese five-spice, garlic and ginger in a bowl. Stir.
Place the duck in the Ziploc bag and add the marinade.
Place duck in the fridge for 24 hours, turning it occasionally to make sure all sides get coated. Either double Ziploc duck or put it in a bowl to ensure no spills.
Light Pit Barrel® according to instructions.
Hang duck using Turkey Hanger and cook for roughly 3 hours or until 135 degrees (medium-rare) or your preference.
Let rest and serve!
