Louisville, KY – March 31, 2020 – The Barrel House Cooker Company, LLC, maker of modular vertical barrel cookers of the same name, announced today that the company is now under new ownership after being acquired by the Glanville family, the founders of Pit Barrel Cooker Co. Much of the Glanville’s past success has roots in Mr. Glanville’s military career where an ethos of hard work, passion and teamwork driven success, and the family intends to bring those qualities to the Barrel House reorganization. The Glanvilles will also be inviting fans into the strategic process as they seek to identify a new path forward for the company and redefine its product lineup while embracing the features Barrel House fans have come to love.

“One of the elements that brought Amber and I into the outdoor living industry was the way that fire and food can bring us all together, so we’re excited to be expanding our barbecue family,” said Noah Glanville, cofounder, president and CEO of Pit Barrel Cooker Co. “As pioneers in the vertical cooker market we’ve always strived to bring the best products to the consumer, and they have always been a big part of that winning formula; so we’re excited to bring our industry knowledge together with the passion of the Barrel House fans to chart a new path forward for the company and the brand.”

The Glanville family founded the Pit Barrel Cooker Co. in 2010 following Mr. Glanville’s service as a US Navy corpsman stationed with the US Marine Corps. Through a lot of trial and error, the Glanvilles developed the ultimate outdoor cooking device and patented the first outdoor vertical cooker of its kind. The Pit Barrel Cooker and the Barrel House Cooker share a complimentary no-hassle, set-it-and-forget-it cooking style that leaves the pitmaster free to enjoy family and friends while the cooker design ensures amazingly flavored results every time. As has been the family’s approach to growing its Pit Barrel brand, Mr. Glanville expects to bring their customer-first approach to the reorganization of The Barrel House Cooker Company, LLC.

“We’ve always made our customers a big part of our decision-making process, especially when it comes to product and innovation. We believe this grassroots philosophy allows the customers to help build the brand and will help us find the best path forward for Barrel House as well,” said Glanville. “As we chart the future for the company, the fans of its vertical cookers can expect to hear more from us. We hope they will be open to sharing their experiences as we seek to strengthen and grow the Barrel House community and determine the best path forward for the company.”
